DeVone Boggan launched Advance Peace’s signature Peacemaker Fellowship in 2010 while directing Richmond, California’s Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS). Aiming to end gun violence in urban neighborhoods, the fellowship engages those at the center of lethal firearm offenses with intensive, daily supports designed to help them begin healing from past traumas and achieve self-identified goals.
